just watch those Daiwa reels, don't load them up to much or put on any weight on the handles, in fact it would make a good yakka reel......
Let me know when you Daiwa boys move up the ranks and join the Stella stars.
Fish that I have caught or seen caught on Stellas

60kg doggies, 60kg sails, 150kg blue marlin, big fin, big sampsons, big kings and just for Josh, 40kg GT's, monster Coral Trout, the list is endless

Things I have caught on Daiwa's, bream and squid, plus I saw Josh catch a few U/S kings....... Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

This is to easy!

I'll give you $100 for the reel before it breaks, then its worthless. I need a new squid reel.

Stans right, your daiwa crap is only good for bream(saltwater carp) and squid. Besides rohit, your stellas aren't half as high spec as the new one I have coming from Japan. Tongue On a serious note, that cyclone is reeking havoc at my sisters place, hope everyone there is OK.

If you read Alan Hawkes review then you'll see that the SW stellas are the same globally and only differ in the color finish between the JDM and export. If you investigate more on the net you'll see that the export turned out to be superior as there were batches of the JDM release had problems as twinpower parts were put in by mistake.

The only newer stella I know if is the 2010 and that is for the smaller freshwater series, they arent in the sme league as the SWs as they feature aniti reverse switches and hardly any of the waterproofing

There is a cyclone in fiji? Havent had the chance to do much more then work and sleep. Will ask the mrs

That's where your wrong as you will see very shortly. My sister sent me some video of the cyclone she took from inside the house, waves up around the house, trees down and wind absolutely screaming. Bloody crazy stuff, and scary too, the upside is she now has a lot more nice sand on the beach, oh to be back home again, this place sucks big time.
